Painda Recipe / Dish Ingredients

Chicken                                              1.5 Kg

Tomato                                              4 BIG SIZE

Onion                                                 2 BIG SIZE

GREEN CHILI                                   4 – 5

GINGER GARLIC PASTE                   2 SPOONS

RED CHILI POWDER                      1 TSP

HOT SPICE MIXTURE                       1 TSP

SALT                                                   UP TO TASTE


CORIANDER POWDER                    1 TBSP

POTATOES                                         3, CUT THEM IN BIG CUBES

TURMERIC                                        1 TSP

COOKING OIL                                   1 CUP

BREAD / CHAPATI                            5 -6



TOMATO                                               1-2, CUT THEM IN SLICES

LEMON                                                  1-2 CUT THEM IN SLICE

CUCUMBER                                          1-2, CUT THEM IN SLICES

ONION                                                   1-2 CUT THEM IN SLICE


Add oil in the pot and heat it, add onion and fry it golden brown, add ginger garlic paste and fry it very well. Add tomato and also add red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, salt and then add potato. Fry them very well and then add 3-4 glass water and let them cook for 15 to 20 minutes on medium flame. After 15 to 20 minutes off the flame and add hot spices mixture and green chili powder in it. Now let it remain for 10 minutes.

Now take a deep platter and add chopped bread of eatable size. Now add the curry on the bread/CHAPATI and add chicken and potato cubes on the bread/CHAPATI. Garnish it with tomato, cucumber, lemon and onion. Ready to serve.
